I have been bowling for 17 years and i just got my first actual dry lane ball. I had never owned a pearl bowling ball prior to 3 weeks ago and now i own two of them. My house decided to keep the winter shot out for the summer so its been way more dry then normal. all of my stuff was over reacting or would just burn up and hit the pins like a 15 lb. marshmallow. So i picked up a Motiv Acent Pearl and a Lane #1
Pearl Panther (i like my balls pretty what can i say) and these balls are just great. I bowled a 300 with the Pink Panther back in February so the Pearl Panther was a logical choice and i have 2 other motiv balls i love ( sigma hybrid and raptor p7) so i figured i would round out the set. So back to my original question: What balls do you use for dry lanes and why?
I would personally use the Pearl Panther for lighter volume patterns and could probably handle mid oil if i throw it more stright up and the Motiv Acent i would use for shorter patterns and for shot break down.
