What center was used in the movie Strike (aka 7-10 split)? I tried to find it but couldn't. The movie was made in 2007 i believe.

The bowling scenes were in Simi Valley, CA. the bowling alley I think is in a strip mall next to a Big Lots but I'm not sure and don't have a name.

Holly Star Lanes, Santa Monica CA, as seen in The Big Lebowski. Even though he is frequently at the bowling alley, we never actually see "The Dude" bowl. Wonder why, maybe Jeff Bridges can't bowl to save his life.

National bowling Stadium in Reno was used for the big tournament in Kingpin. Not sure about Lancaster bowl, but it was somewhere in Pittsburg.

There was an episode of "Smallville" where a kid is hiding from a killer in a bowling alley. Young Clark spots the bad guy chasing the kid in the machine works with his Xray vision and clocks the dude right through a wall with an pink 8-pound bowling ball. Great shot, not even a foot fault. Now that I think of it, why were the lanes open and unattended? Not even the police showed up.

go figure.

I just recently saw an episode of "Rules of Engagement" where the characters went bowling somewhere. Was great watching one character tell Patrick Warburton "No, this ball isn't extra it's a spare ball. This ones for strikes this ones for spares."

In the movie "The Family Man" with Nicolas Cage, bowling alley scene. I couldn't find the location of the lanes, but the movie was shot in New York and the Teaneck NJ area.

Also "She's Out Of My League" featured a bowling alley scene which was filmed at the Pittsburgh Athletic Club in Oakland, which I've bowled at.

In the Get Smart episode "Diamonds Are a Spy's Best Friend", there's "Frankies" bowling alley which is supposedly a Washington DC bowling alley.

There's also the "League of Bald-Headed Men " and agent 8 1/2 who is staked out in the ball return chute for lane numbers 3&4.

Breaking Away(1979). The bicycle race movie. Goofball gets his fingers stuck in a ball so he takes it with him. They get in a fight and he's swinging that thing around like a weapon!

New ad I saw recently for Chanel. Strange how bowling keeps showing up in commercials but people don't go bowling as a result. At least that is how it appears to me.

King Pin was filmed at Rochester Bowl (at least some scenes were) in Rochester, PA. I live about 15 miles from there. Bowled there once. Our marina is right around the corner from there too.

In the movie Just My Luck, Lindsay Lohan loses all her good luck, and her cushy job, and takes a job as a janitor at a bowling alley, the Rock 'N' Bowl. It's pure hilarity.

Here's one of my favorite scenes: https://youtu.be/4PkNF8hEAY8

Here is a new one I had not heard of, but it is a 2018 movie - "When Jeff Tried to Save the World". Not a great movie but I think it has the potential to be a cult movie. Streaming on Hulu. Don't know if it is available anywhere else.

Another new one - 2017 movie "Hollow in the Land". Again not a great movie. Streaming also on Hulu but it was originally released to the general public.

I recently watched an episode of That Girl with Marlo Thomas, in which she sees a magazine at the bowling alley that told about somebody who bowled with his toes. So of course, she tries, and of course, her toe gets stuck. And of course, she has to deliver a speech in two hours to a room full of muckety-mucks. Great episode.
