I know this has probably been discussed here many times but the current thread on PAP is very confusing. What is an easy method for me to find my own PAP measurement? I can't always seem to find one clear ring of oil around the ball.

They all depend on seeing the oil rings, Make sure you clean the ball off real good before you throw it. And throw it close the middle of the lane where there's the most oil.
there's the hit or miss method just take a guess about where you think it might be. put a dot of tape right there, throw it see how far off you are, then move it a little and keep trying till you hit it. You'll know your on it when you throw the ball and the dot stays stable on that spot. Through the front part of the lane.
If you don't have a spinner or armadillo or prosect(quarter scale), if your careful you can use a flexible ruler.

After I can pinpoint the spot then how do I measure where it's at?
Nevermind I see that you added the video. Thanks!!!
bowl1820, do you have the video private? Once I hit play it goes black even though I can still here it

No it's not private (its not my video) if you can hear it, that's a issue with the player. I made a change to the link, reload the page(Hold the shift key down and click the browser reload button.) and try it again

If you use the piece of tape method, have someone with you to help spot it. If you're on the tape will not rotate for at least the first 15 feet.

I still couldn't view it but went to the powerhouse website and it worked from there. That was just what I was looking for. Thanks
