found a ebonite crush/r at the thrift store

While browsing for work pants at the thrift store today, with limited success, because apparently not too many others wear my size. But anyways, while browsing I always look around the store for random stuff. Well, the 'sporting goods' section coughed up a nice bowling ball, to be exact the crush/r. Fast forward, pay 4 bucks for it. It's of course been drilled, weighs 14.5 lbs (after a pro shop visit, i found out the weight). My guy at bowling iq let me know he can fix it up for 30 bucks. But he said to do up the league in September and see where i'm at before i pay for a ball to be done that may become irrelevant in my arsenal. So I just threw it tonight with a conventional grip and slightly oversize finger holes, and liked how it performed on PBA Cheetah no less. Had a good run with my regular arsenal included another 500+ series with a high game 199. :cool:

$4.00 for it :confused: then yes that was a fantastic deal those were
great balls back in the day and are probably still great today
on the right conditions.

yep, no b.s. paid four dollars for it. another fine thrift store jackpot. yeah, not to bad at all, like i said, threw it on pba cheetah for fun as is, and it did fine.
