My name is Bob and have been involved in bowling for over fifty years. Yeah, that makes me an old man, but I have a passion for the game and
I'm always willing to help new bowlers or even experienced bowlers having problems. I've been a certified coach since 1973, and have witnessed many changes in the sport. Some for the good and some not so good. But I've always loved the game and always will. Currently carrying 217, throw only brunswick equipment, was a regional pro in New England for 2 years, managed a bowling center, been a local association board member for eight years and I'm in my former local association HOF. You might say I've been around the block a few times. :)

Anyway, glad to be a part of this forum and look forward to some good discussions about the sport, and coaching if needed.

Anytime, just ask. I have coached and continue to coach many that are naturals as well as those who cannot chew gum and walk. Everyone is a challenge, and I love seeing the results and the look on their faces after throwing a good game or having a good set.

Welcome aboard Bob. Just last week I attended the Bronze seminar. Pat Costello was my instructor and she was as much of a trip in class as she was on the lanes. I have also been fortunate enough to get lessons from Ron Hatfield and Andy Parker.
I have been working/volunteering with the youth program at my home center. That made me want to learn the proper ways to coach. The goal is to help get more people get in to an denjoy the sport while helping to ensure the local high school has plenty of good bowlers to choose from.
