im planning on getting a new roto-grip theory but im not going to put any finger grips or thumb slug in it cause i seem to beable to throw streght up with out them.
when i try to throw streght up with fingers grips and thumb slug i seem to pull the ball alot and dont seem to beable to fix it because everything i do seem's to not do anything i always end up pulling it.
but i was first thinking of getting the track 716T instead but then i thought if the lane have aibt too much oil on them where when im throwing cross lanes and non of my balls are hooking or only hooking alittle i could just switch to streght up, but with the 716T i was not sure if it would hook going streght up 10 with lots of oil out soo i decided to go with abit more agressive ball witch i can just do some minor adjustments too, to beable to hit the pocket.
unless you guys think i should go with another ball or stick with the track 716T i would like advice but i only got limited money atm had to go shopping for some good and lots of drinks too last me about 2 weeks soo gives me tme to save up.
but no DV8 balls im planing on getting another HHR after the start of the winter league's
p.s: this was my best try at making a good post i read over it a few times to figure out where too put stuff did that because its a new thread need people to easly read it

Thanks Striker, this is much better than usual. If you don't mind I'll just put a little polish on it.
I'm planning on getting a new Roto-Grip Theory but I'm not going to put any finger grips or thumb slug in it cause i seem to be able to throw straight up with out them.
When I try to throw straight up with finger grips and thumb slug I seem to pull the ball a lot and don't seem to be able to fix it because everything I do seems to not do anything I always end up pulling it.
But I was first thinking of getting the track 716T instead but then I thought if the lane have a bit too much oil on them where when I'm throwing cross lanes and none of my balls are hooking or only hooking a little I could just switch to straight up, but with the 716T i was not sure if it would hook going straight up 10 with lots of oil out so I decided to go with a bit more aggressive ball witch i can just do some minor adjustments too, to be able to hit the pocket.
Unless you guys think i should go with another ball or stick with the track 716T i would like advice but I only have limited money, at the moment I had to go shopping for some food and lots of drinks to last me about 2 weeks so gives me time to save up.

I'm not sure why finger grips and slugs would cause you to pull the ball. Usually pulling is caused by either bad swing mechanics, like not getting your hip out of the way on the approach, or bad timing. Thumb slugs are supposed to get your thumb out of the ball more smoothly. Shouldn't affect the swing or the timing at all.

yeah john ik of the swing part but im thinking my fingers might be sticking in the ball alittle longer then on my release like a fraction of a second, cause i have done the same swing with no fingers grips or thumb slug and it comes out perfect maby next time when i go up and practice and get more finger protection tape, i might go and put some on my middle finger cause thats the fingers to me that seems to be sticking the most in the ball im not full sure.
i will go and get a new camera or borrow one from someone and record my bowling of throwing from the right side to the left side to see the difference in my release and post it on here, ik one thing that people will see if my balance but it is manly cause of my left ankle since i hit it with my bowling ball a few months ago.

You should take a look at the Hammer Ratchet (http://www.bowlingball.com/products/bowling-balls/Hammer/10366/Ratchet.html). It releases in about 3 weeks and I think it would be a good ball for you. It's stronger than the Track 716t but not quite as strong as the Roto-Grip Theory. It has an asymmetrical core like the other balls you are looking at and I'm going to guess that's what you want. I heard the Coach/Driller at the pro shop talking about this ball and how he just used it to win a tournament. He said it continued to work even as the lanes broke down even though he thought it was going to burn up. He's part of Hammer's Video Test Team and you can see a video of the ball in action here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVAbMjenygU). The guy I know is Shawn Lee. He's the fourth one to bowl in the video.

Sounds like the thumb isn't the problem, just the grips.

yeah john why put a thumb slug in and notfinger grips i prefer to put both in feel much better but im jsut going to do some test and once i get better at thrwoing streght up with grips in then i cna go and get the grips put in the ball.
josch the rachet looked like a good ball but from the video noone there shoots like me and i cant really make a resemblence cause i got alot more rev and abit more speed then most of them.

Critical Theory. Case closed. The original Theory is a good ball, but the CT is excellent.
