I got my second best series today and my second 600 series. I got a 627. My best is 666 which I did about a month ago. Unfortunately both series were durring practice, but since the league I'm in this summer isn't sanctioned it doesn't really matter.
I threw a gutter for the first shot of the first game since it was my first shot of the day and I needed to warm up a little. The next ball stayed on the lane but I didn't convert. The game was up hill from there. 9/'s and strikes till the 7th which had a baby split which I was able to pick up. I was back in the same rhythm until the last shot of the 10th until I missed my mark and left 3. I bowled a 200. After that I had a feeling that today was going to be a good day.

The second game had a bad start. I left a 10 pin and missed (I'm sill not 100% on them). Then the second frame I got a pocket 7-10. I used it to practice my 7 pin conversions since I'm not very accurate with them and I knew I wasn't going to pick it up. Then things went up hill. I got 4 strikes in a row and then 2 9/'s. Then I got a a strike in the 9th and the first ball of the 10th but went low on the next shot and left a washout but I still managed to convert it. I bowled a 212 and I knew all I had to do was bowl a 188 for a 600 series. This is only a couple pins above my average and I knew I could do it.

I started the game out with a strike but on the next shot I left a baby split and failed to spare. To make things worse I started out the next shot with a gutter ball but luckily I got the spare. I knew I had to get mostly strikes for the rest of the game if I wanted the 600 series. I struck in the 4th and 5th and got 9/'s in the 6th-8th. I knew I needed a strike if I didn't want to have to strike out in the 10th. Luckly I got it. I needed a strike in the 10th to get the 600 series. I got it and to make it better I did it 2 more times. I ended the game with a 215. Way better than I thought it was going to be.

Here's a video with the first and last shot of the game. The last strike was the worst strike of the game.
