For all the bowling during that event except the TV portion you get tickets from the local bowling center, in this case South Point Casino. For the TV show portions of the tournament you get through PBA.com, which I don't think are available yet.

Event Tickets
There are currently no event tickets available

I guess it will still be a while before TV tickets go on sale.

Ok I'm thinking of going in the middle of the tournament like say nov 7-9.. it would be my first airplane flight too. So if I stay at the hotel can I just come down to the alleys and watch the pros play, even meet them when they're not bowling?

I imagine you would need daily tickets or maybe a pass card to get into where
they are bowling each day but the alleys as you put it is the TV pair they bowl
on at the hotel. The actual qualifying goes on in a different center I can not think
of the name right off hand but at the hotel they only have the TV pair of lanes.

I would think you'd have no problems in meeting some of the Pros when their not
bowling especially if you went to the bowling center when they were qualifying.

Ohh I would have been at the wrong hotel then.

Pba.com says this:
The 2012 WSOB will be conducted Nov. 2-11 at the South Point Hotel, Casino and Bowling Center in Las Vegas for the third consecutive year.

So are the qualifying rounds at a different bowling alley and finals are at south point or vice versa?

they may not be bowling those events, but are you sure they won't be there? (i am actually curious if you can find out the schedules of what events/where a lot of the pros will be)

i wouldn't go all the way out to vegas for it (probably be too expensive for me) but if they had an event in the philly area I'd check it out

Maybe the PBA could do fans days like some baseball teams do where you get to meet and talk to the players,

anything that would help reach out and be good PR for the sport would make sense....so they probably won't
