Most spares can be thought of as one pin shots. To pick them up you have to aim for one Key pin or the place where one key pin used to be.
Example the 3-10 spare to pick it up you shoot for where the 6 pin was. The 6 pin is the key pin or say you leave the 2-7 spare to pick it up you shoot for where the 4 pin was. The 4 pin is the key pin.
The 7,4,2,1,3,6,10 are the seven key spares positions and picking up any spare combination involves hitting one of those "Key Pins".
So on that chart you would write your
Standing Spot:
Aiming Mark:
Ball:
For shooting that "Key Pin"

I was planning on tracking this for the upcoming season. I wasn't sure how as the alley doesn't have wifi and I don't have or want a smart phone. Then along comes Bowl1820 to the rescue with a printable version of what I wanted. Thank you

Am I correct in assuming that in the ball column you write the number of the board that the ball was on as it passed the target?

As far as I know, the ball column meant just that. What ball you used for that shot.
You'd put the target your shooting at in the aim box, then mark on the diagram above where you actually hit.
and down where the key pin stuff is. You'd put what you learned/analyzed in there, like to shoot the 6pin, I need to stand here, aim here, use this ball to hit that key pin.
But you could adapt it and mark it how ever you want, with the information that means the most to you.

Don't know you can try and redownload it. you should get a file called Performance_Record.zip
then just right click it and go to extract all.

Did that with no success. I have always had this error message on any compressed zip folder. Has to be something on my PC that just isn't right. I knew it was not a problem on your end as others were able to access it but needed to ask just in case. Time to find a tall building and drop this PC!....Thnx!

Try a different zip program like 7-Zip (It's free) it's one of the best.

I recieved the same message using IE8 so I started up FireFox
to DL the file and had no more trouble out of it. I believe it is
something in IE that causes all 0f the problems with zip files
sometimes.

Just tried it with IE9 and downloaded okay. So a browser update might help also.
