ok al that is kinda hard to say cause you dont say how fast you throw the ball down the lane and also where do you normaly stand but if anything if u like to stand left then get it pin down i u want to stand abit more right then go pin up i also have alot of revs and i throw 15-17mph maby more and i throw 14lb and 15lb balls and i got 3 pin down 2 pin up and 1 beside my fingers butdown alittle i like to throw agressive stuff i can control them but i cant control mitch pins they knok over but i wish i did then i wo0uld get a 300.
i can bowl from far left over left gutter and also up the right side every ball i ahve dose something different soo dependiong on the oil and who im bowling agenst but im planning on getting a new ball and maby getting it drilled jsut like my one ball that has the pin beside my figners and down abit maby or i will go agressive with it.
talk to your pro shop and you tell him how you want to throw it and he will watch you throw the ball and he will get it for you.

I've been told to always get a 3 inch pin, if you can, by my pro shop guy. I also have a lot of revs...

This is gonna sound weird but I started bowling like ten years ago and the first two years I've had a 801 series and 299, 297, 298 games, I've always just stood left and picked a spot on the lane, I throw the ball 19 to 20 mph, I took somez years off and got back in to it 4 years ago for 1 year and stopped again and now I'm getting back in to it, I've always used someone else ball to, so this will be my first ball

Best advice here. Ask your pro shop operator to watch you throw a few balls and make a couple of recommendations. They do this all the time and will have a better idea after watching you, what type of ball and what toy of drilling you might need based on where you bowl and the THS (typical house shot) you bowl on. There are many variables to consider and if you bowl in different houses, one ball may not work in all places. Take their advice and start there. Good luck.
