Review By Tony Ruocco of bowlingball.com

Make the smart choice... go with the Storm IQ (http://www.bowlingball.com/products/bowling-balls/Storm/10351/IQ-Tour.html) Tour bowling ball if you want tame the lane!

Pin to PAP(5 1/8" over 1/8" up) - 5 1/8"
PSA Layout - 5 1/8" x 6" x 2 3/4"
Balance Hole - n/a

Surface Preparation - Out of Box (4000 grit Abralon)

What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:
With Storm's release of the IQ and IQ Tour (http://www.bowlingball.com/products/bowling-balls/Storm/10351/IQ-Tour.html) at the same time we wanted to see the actual difference in the ball motions without the layout being a factor.

I kept the layout very simple placing the pin 5 1/8" from my PAP just above my ring finger and using a smoother placement for the cg keeping the ball from over reacting and really letting me see the way the ball rolls.

With the smoother finish and differences in core/cover we expected to see a noticeable difference in the ball motion from the IQ.

What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:
Awesome, awesome, awesome. The IQ Tour (http://www.bowlingball.com/products/bowling-balls/Storm/10351/IQ-Tour.html) was perfect, it showed me plenty of difference in motion from the IQ and I loved the movement this ball made and the look it gave me.

In the video the ball motion differences look very subtle, but do not be fooled by this two ball line up as you will see plenty of differences in the look you will have from ball to ball. The IQ Tour (http://www.bowlingball.com/products/bowling-balls/Storm/10351/IQ-Tour.html) offered a smoother motion off my hand allowing me to open up the lane for a strong backend move off the break point.

This overall motion suited my eye more then the IQ normally would but on a fresher pattern I can see where I would need the IQ and then transition into the Tour as the night progressed. The IQ Tour (http://www.bowlingball.com/products/bowling-balls/Storm/10351/IQ-Tour.html) saved up more energy for a sharper motion down lane but still offered plenty of roll and read throughout the lane from the heads to \the pins.

I think the two ball punch of the IQ and IQ Tour (http://www.bowlingball.com/products/bowling-balls/Storm/10351/IQ-Tour.html) will offer a great variety to play multiple conditions and I promise you will see a lot of this ball from Storm staffers this season.
