What is good team name? Every time before we start a league we will sit at the table and think of a new name and find our self using the same one as the last one?

those are fine, but awfully cliche. me and my friends usually come up with something that relates to us, not bowling. last year we were "john adams' head"
this year we were' "the pointy cactus" the first one was sort of a joke only few of us would get (bonus if you can figure it out) we didn't have much real basis for the 2nd name, it was just spitballing ideas and somehow the idea of a cactus came about...and we went with that

We have Fist Bumps for one team, Shenannigan's for another, and too legit to split for the other.

Also have done Balls of Fire and used Top Gun nicknames.

A team we put together on Saturday for one of the squads for a tournament had a cool name. We had it all put together and were thinking about a team name, and an old Asian man (a bowler as well, but not on this team) said, "How bout you guys be team international since you have a white guy, a black guy, an Asian guy, and an Indian guy?" It was pretty funny, seeing as how we didn't even realize it when we put it together.

He also said he had a team he was in a league with that had two Asian guys and two white guys and they called it "Cauc-Asians" lol.

I just posted this in a similar thread, but my favorite has always been "Know Your Roll". Just the other day I thought of "The Sweet Rollers" and "I Stole Your Sweet Roll". Those last two are references to a popular video game series. Extra points for you if you know which one(without reading it in my other post).
