I've used the app Pin Pal in my iPhone before, but I noticed there were several folks here that posted their scores using an iPhone app called Best Bowling (it may also be available for Android, I don't know). I like the way Best Bowling prints out scoresheets WITH PINDICATORS. So I went ahead and bought it for my iPhone. But I have a question about its use, and there's no apparent User Guide that comes with it that would answer this very basic question:
How can I enter my scores shot in each league separate from other leagues? I don't want my Monday night league scores mixed up with my Wednesday night league scores.
Is there a way to do this? I can't find it in the Best Bowling app.
Anybody know?

You have to assign a league name for each league.
On the list &input screen, you click the the plus (+) button, this takes you to the edit screen, you then fill in the event name and the other info. once done when you want to add a new night just select the league you want and add the scores for that night.
Then on the statistics screen to see each leagues stats. click on the funnel icon this is the condition settings. then where it says event click on the 3 bars button and select the league you want to see stats for then click done.

I wonder how receptive the guy who wrote the app is to suggestions. One thing I have yet to find in any app and would sure like to have is a way to notate which pair of lanes you're bowling on each time, and which lane of the pair you're starting on in each game (typically the lane you'd start on would be the same lane you start the third game on, while you'd start on the other lane the 2nd game). If adequately sortable, this lane- and pair-specific information could prove very useful over a season to track your scores and which spares you leave on specific pairs of lanes within a given house. It would be nice to know, for example, that lane 15 always hooks more than lane 16 (as evidenced by my splits and 4 pins left there). I'd also like to know that I always bowl my best whenever we're on 11 and 12, and that 23 and 24 seem to be a black hole for me.
I'm guessing this information isn't currently available with Best Bowling (or any other app for the iPhone).
How would one write to the Best Bowling author? Does he understand English? Anybody know?

I guess you'd have to start by finding out WHO the author is? and then where he's from and whatnot.

well if they made an english version and have an english site, I'm sure he either speaks the language, or works with someone who does.

My Lane Play. It costs 6-7 bucks but I think it's worth it. There's a free version if you want to try it out first.

I use an app on android called Strike Out Stats. I'm not sure if it's available for iPhone or not. Anyway, on this app, you can enter game details such as lanes bowled on, ball used, and oil pattern. It cost about $5. There is a free version also, but like I said, I'm not sure if it's available for iPhone.
