officaly suck at bowling .... not any more i am back!

I just had to brag on myself. after struggling several weeks ago, I have finally made my way back into a good average. I bowled a 193 two games prior to this 183. this is kinda important to me as I believe it is the most strikes I have ever gotten in one game. I have scored higher but I also picked up many more spares. wish I would have picked up my spare on this game!

Good game, definately would work on the spares though like you said, those open frames really killed it

Good game, definately would work on the spares though like you said, those open frames really killed it yeah i must deff work on that. as i stated in a previous topic i was stopped bowling for awhile and when i came back i was bowling around 30 ... :( avg but now i am very pleased to show of my improvements but i know there is still alot to go

I spent most of this summer messing around with spares. The wife and I go couple bowling with friends. Instead of showing off and throwing strikes, I was shooting at 10's and 7's with a full rack and then if the other people left weird spares I would take the shot for them. It's amazing what kind of garbage "non bowlers" can leave.

You would be surprised and how much that has helped my spare game. I have been shooting fairly clean this season so far.

If you can find a house ball of equal weight (approximate) and that fits well then try it for a few games. however any ball can be used to throw a straight ball, the only real difference is with a house ball wont hook a fraction the amount if you put rotation on the ball.

if you cant find a decent house ball, take your ball, spread your pinky and index fingers a bit farther and roll the ball directly at your target without rotating your wrist.
