I've always been a fan of stand up. I like a lot of the greats, Pryor, Williams, Cosby, Gallagher, Foxworthy. Lately, I've come to like Amy Shumer, Katt Williams (even though Comedy Central always plays his stuff), Louis CK, Gabriel and Ralphie are great too. I really miss Headberg though.

45 bucks each ticket, right around there. He sold tickets himself for this show, to avoid tickemaster charges and scalpers. I got them the first day they went on sale though, they sold out pretty quick.

How about the guy on Safari in Africa. He spots a young bull elephant standing with one leg in the air.
He figures the elephant is injured and cautiously approaches.
He sees that the elephant has large wooden splinter in his foot.
Carefully, he removes his knife and gingerly removes the splinter.
The elephant steps forward and places the foot on the ground, tries weight on the foot.
Fearfull that he would be crushed by this wild aminal, he steps back but the elphant step forward and looks the guy in the eye with a wierd look.
Then the gives a loud trump, turns and walks away.
20 years later the man has taken his 11-year old son to the zoo.
As they pass the elephant cage, He notices the elephant looks familiar.
Could it be the same elephant?
As he and his son come closer tothe cage, the elephant come to the edge of the cage, raises his foot and looks at the guy with that same wierd look.
It is the same elephant!!!
Excited, the guy climbs the fence and into the cage.
As he approaches the elephant, it is clear this is the same Bull Elephant.
They stare into each other's eyes.
The elephant gently wraps his trunk around the guy and
Slams him against the fence in rage.
Probably wasn't the same elephant.

I guess all these spam posts have one redeeming quality, bringing subjects back to the top. Though it'd be nice if say 5-10 of us were able to mark it as SPAM and have it removed immediately.
Back to the topic, Eddie Murphy. The two greatest standup specials ever were Delirious and Raw. Richard Pryor and Bill Cosby are close but Eddie's were the best.
