No surprise, Lon McEachern did a good job at the Summer Shootout. As long as it wasn't Gary Thorne again, he was god awful. I will miss Rob Stone. I know a lot of people didn't like him, but he had fun with it.

I didn't like Rob, especially when he would scream, "Hambone!" I do admit that I like his use of "Yahtzee", "Six Pack", and ,giving my age away, "Bo Derek".

I didn't have an issue with Rob or the "hambone". Randy Peterson I'm still on the fence about. I think maybe the network could use Jackie Bowling or whoever else they have around, do some interviews off-lane with the bowlers, families, etc. Something, anything to make the sport appeal to more people. Bring back more WOMEN'S BOWLING!!!

Amen to that bill it's just not the same without seeing the
women bowling on TV anymore. :(

I really like Randy Pederson. I don't know what "color commentator" means since I don't watch sports but it seems like they might have hired him to be the guy that knows the sport front to back, but he has a good personality.

Serious I would like to see that. I got my sisters into bowling showing how Missy Parkin and Catherine Dorin-Ballard (I think thats how those are spelled) tear it up in the strike elimination segment.
