I can't use my HRR on my house shot now so the Nightmare would just be another tournament ball. I still want one though.
Let's see, I stood on 20 of the lane next to me and lofted the gutter for a strike with the HRR so I guess that means I would have to stand on 25 of the lane left of me. That's freaking insane.

Yeah, it does seem like it will be stronger then the Revenge... It doesn't seem like a skid flippy ball, which is kinda what I'm looking for. Still might have to get the Nightmare. Maybe I can just come up with a layout that will give me more of a snap backend motion.

haha! i might get it too since when its fresh oiled my HRR skids right through because of my speed.. so I have to slow down.. maybe this ball will help me more :)

Eugene, given the fact the lanes are oiled differently in Singapore maybe you should email dv8 and ask what ball and layout they would suggest.

I may be getting the Nightmare after all. The local pro shop owner wants me to buy one at cost and use it one week during my leagues. He says my using DV8 has caused him to have to stock them now. He is selling more of them than the Storm balls he gets a deal on. I realize he is just trying to use me but how can I pass up getting one at cost? I don't use his shop so I'm just not sure.

I don't like that pro shop's work though. I can't see myself telling people that he sold and drilled that ball for me. The product I would really be pushing is his pro shop and not necessarily the ball. Do I really want to endorse a product (his shop) that I don't believe in just to get a product (the ball) of a company I do believe in? I better turn him down before I give myself an ulcer.

Isn't it a good feeling getting the name out for a good company? I was finally able to slap some DV8 stickers on our pro shops glass display case. THis time last year there was no one throwing them or even asking him about them, now he is thinking about getting some for the shelf. Slowly but surely the deviants will take over :D

Can it really be that 5,000,000 balls are dead or maybe it's the thing they all have in common? The person rolling them?

well bill there not dead no more just got them all checked out but the with the nightmare im going to get it drilled a way that willwork on lots of patterns im at a new bowling allie that is alot different ike at cloverleaf i use to stand on 20 stride left 2-3 boards and push it out to 5board and know at belleville i have to stand on 15 board and push it out to 8 board and it dose not come in strong enoph cause im not use to nice lanes.

Not yet but usually $10 more than their equivalent. So the Nightmare would be $10 more than the Revenge or Terror and the Marauder Madness $10 more than the Marauder. A couple of more weeks and we will see how close I am.

229.3 Perfect Scale rating -- Highest ever. Has a 2.55 RG too, which is on the higher end, and what I'm looking for.

Holy smokes!!!!! First they had to up the perfect scale for the Revenge. Now, a mere 9 months later, to the chagrin of the competiton, DV8 HAS RAISED THE BAR AND PERFECT SCALE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The competition isn't eating our dust, just getting the pins flown in their face!

I noticed. Very nice pricing by DV8. I created another deviant tonight. One of the top bowlers asked to use my pin down Revenge tonight. After the first roll he wanted to buy it off me. I told him it would be cheaper to buy it new. We are still haggling but I won't let it go for less than $250. After he rolled a 762 tonight after missing the past 5 weeks, my wallet may be getting bigger. Almost enough to replace the Revenge and get the Marauder or Nightmare. Or the Zombie. Or the Marauder Madness. Damn, I am a ball hog lol

It's so fun converting people isn't it bill? The one kid on my friday night team ordered a misfit on Thursday and hopes to have it ready for the next league night. One of the best bowlers in the alley if I could convince him to get the ball I would be willing to bet half the bowlers would have them. He's a hell of a bowler (2 300's last season) and always willing to give anyone advice so a lot of the bowlers take his recommendations very seriously. He typically only uses columbia and whenever people ask him about what ball to get he steers them to columbia.

Eventually DV8 will be the norm though, The air fresheners will be spare balls or sitting on the house racks.
