Tournament time!!!

Heading out to the Storm Mixed National at the bowling stadium in Reno today. Going to bowl roughly 25ish games in 3 days. Anybody got any words of wisdom or can give some insight as to how the lanes played?

Good luck! i've never bowled there, or in any major event for that matter so i can't offer much in advice other than keep calm and pace yourself, if you bowl one bad game don't worry about it, 24 more to make it up! and remember HAVE FUN!!!!!

Good luck! Just remember if you get into trouble, to keep it simple and keep the ball in play. If your going to bowl a big block, keep a steady pace.

I bowled there. Synthetic lanes, well oiled and well maintained. Everyone I bowled with agreed that the lanes where great and that they over thought the conditions and about making adjustments.

Well that was a rough. Didn't realize until after the tourny that I didn't get entered into the scratch division in the singles and doubles in parts which sucked hard. Appertently they thought it made sense that i wanted to bowl all handicap but also wanted to enter the all events scratch but not all events handicap. Oh well. Wasn't all a lose Mixed Team - 8th, All events scratch 2nd, Open singles handicap - 18th, open singles scratch - 8th and 6 gamer scratch - 3rd. Hopefully it holds up for two more weekends.
