Hammer

I thought that maybe I would look for two things in a new ball. It would be 14 pounds and maybe a hybrid. It would have to be good for dry to medium
league type alley oil. I am a little guy of 5:6 height and 150 pounds and 65 years of age. Plus I have a little artritis problem in the hips and knees. It is not bad to make me a cripple because I can still make a bent knee approach to the foul line staying low which ain't a problem at my height. LOL. I have a Raw Hammer Anger ball now at 15 pounds. I thought because of my age and the things going on with my body that 14 pounds might be more controllable for me. Good excuse for getting a newbie. I saw great prices for balls on bolingball.com. I knew I shouldn't have gone to that site. I started drolling while looking at all of the colors and those prices. It is hard not to get hooked looking at stuff there. The balls that you can get from $100.00
down to $80.00 is impressive. What ball would have a nice controllable hook and work nice when the alleys are suffering from lack of oil? Maybe the pro shop in my bowling center can steer me in the right direction. He can watch me throw my Hammer and go from there. Maybe after seeing my approach and swing he might tell me that I would be better to literally throw a hammer(the tool) at the pins. LOL. Any recommendations?
