Hello Everyone!

I am Levi Lauck, the creator of UBowling.com. I created the website as a bowling resource to help grow the sport of bowling in my community of Utah and surrounding areas. Unfortunately, the state of the sport in my area is pretty sad. There is hardly any competitive bowling going on in our area and the only way we can really bowl and good tournaments is to travel out of state.

I created this website to change that. Hopefully by posting competitive tournaments and leagues the awareness of these events grow and become more successful and more people will put on such events. We hope to provide a lot of good bowling ball review videos as well. We have just begun, I started this site just a couple of months ago so the videos are still rough as it we go through our growing pains and learn what to do. Please check out the site and let me know what you think. www.ubowling.com (http://www.ubowling.com)

Small world. The guy you have in the review video (Matt Voeltz} is someone I bowled in leagues against back in the 80's here in Riverside Ca.

Oh really?? That is awesome! Matt works with me on the site and we do a lot in his pro shop. I am trying to get him to join these forums so you may see him around!

Welcome to the boards!

The site looks great, its always nice to see people actively get involved in growing the sport. I watched a few of the reviews, they look really good and i respect the fact that you didn't edit out every non perfect shot like manufacturers do

Keep up the great work!

Welcome to the forums. I like the site. I especially like the bowler doing the review. He wears a knee brace, has no slide and timing is late, just like the average league bowler! Looks like his reviews would be more accurate for the masses.
If there is anything I can do to help you promote bowling in your area, just say the word. If we can't get more people into bowling the sport will die and I want it to thrive!

Thanks guys!

That is exactly what we are going for in our reviews. Something for the average bowler. Not too technical to satisfy the pros (they already know what they want) and not something too simple to satisfy the beginner bowlers (they should be talking to the pro shop, lol), but something for the bowlers in the middle. We have 4 bowlers on staff that do the video reviews. Though we all average well, we are all very different. And we want to show an honest reaction on a lot of different oil patterns. Currently two of the reviews we have are just on the house shot, we will be adding more video with additional oil patterns soon for those review.
