Is anyone picking up COD black ops 2? I had some vacation that's about to be useless so I'm taking launch week off and will be playing for pretty much the entire week. Got the 120" projector set up and ready to go. :D

I play the games with my son, so I game as much as I can. Between 3 nights a week bowling and working 60+ hours a week I don't get much time to game anymore.

I miss old fps games, i have the original medal of honor pc game still, its really fun lol

They have gotten a bit outrageous, but there is still some fun to be had online. The campaign usually gets me angry, $60 for a 3-4 hour game :mad:

Come on bill you know they are super realistic. Listen to the people playing it they'll tell you it's completely accurate. I mean I know when I was in I always pointed a loaded weapon directly at the person I was talking to, didn't you? I also dual wielded shotguns and could hit people at 500 yards from my hip. Not to mention I was a first class sprinter who could run with a .50cal and shoot anyone at will.

You know as well as I do though if they made it as realistic as they could people would stop playing after having to go to a range and sight in their weapon. 4 clicks down 7 to the left ;)

just played some MW3 was playing online and got in one of my games 33 kills 0 deaths dame i'm a good camper lol everyone just kept going infront of me and never shot me lol


but my next game i think i said about 50 swear words in the first 2 minutes lost count after that but finished that game 53 kills 13 deaths i play on domanation more xp and much more time to get kills.

the most kills i have ever done on MW3 has been 210 kills

If I play dom it's with a group of friends and we get the objective done and go for the wins, not the kills. If i'm on my own it's mercenary TDM and I play for the kills there cause that's where kills matter. If there are no decent TDM matches it's off to free for all.

World of Warcraft and Diablo 3 for me. I find the shooter games to be unrealistic so I go totally the other direction to fantasy! As I told someone in an email at work after they asked me what I would rather be doing than being at work(I am an IT Technician).

I have a love-hate relationship with games. I used to be part of a start-up that wrote a couple games (just puzzle/PC download type stuff). I used to love video games but trying to make a living at writing them killed that love. I have a bunch of great game ideas, but writing them is so much friggin' work and the rewards are slim to none unless you get really lucky or write that one hit game everyone is talking about that year. We kept trying to break into the big time, even got a few very famous people to record voice-overs for us and we just couldn't get anyone on board with us enough to fund us to the point where we could actually write a game that was a commercial success. I like Rovio's stuff, I play Angry Birds and am looking forward to playing Angry Birds Star Wars this month when it comes out but other than that, meh. I'd rather go bowling than either play or write another one of those infernal things.

Another gamer here too. Not a big fan of shooters like MW3. I like Halo, will probably buy Halo 4. Don't buy a lot of games either, I use GameFly. Been playing Dishonored last week or so, it's ok, but not great. I haven't played as much lately though as practicing bowling has become my favorite way to spend an extra hour to two.

I used to be into COD big time. I used to get all mad too, break controllers, curse and scream. Then while playing Forza 4, my 360 got the red ring of death. That was 2 years ago. Haven't fixed it, and I don't think I ever will. I used to think that playing those games was fun. What's fun about throwing things, and cursing at people you don't even know.

Only game i play online is NCAA Football for PS3. Some old frat bro's of mine started a league and it's a lot of fun. Most play Madden, but we like the college game better just because the players change constantly so there's a smaller window and almost anyone has a chance to be great!

I have an xbox, but I am my Father's Son, and I refuse to pay for the wireless adapter and THEN pay extra money to play online!! No thanks... I need to pick up Halo 4. I have a $25 coupon for Best Buy that expires 12.15.2012, so I figure I'll have to go do that soon.

I finally replaced my old analog tv with a new High Def. LCD unit (A Hisense 39") and got a new UPS unit to help condition the voltage ( the voltage here loves to fluctuate). Only drawing about 290 watts with the TV and game fired up so only using about 80% capacity, not much run time but enough to save and shutoff safely.

Now to calibrate the picture, only have the THX optimizer on disk to set up the picture for now. But should get it close.

Got a new game Resident Evil 6 (was on sale) wanted Black ops 2 but it was sold out!!! so have to wait on it.

Ahhh the HDMI hook up looks alot better than the old AV lines.

Now for a new surround sound system next.

bowl1820 dont get blackops 2, the game is nice but its stupid ahrd to understand half the weapons like i cna have a very powerfull weapon lots of accuracy and a weapon that has less in damage and accuracy and fire rate kills a person in less bullets so im still trying to figure it all out.

Youre just as bad as me!! Hahahaha. Enjoy, BUT you might consider building the sound system piece by piece if you have the patience for it. I bought my receiver first, then the towers, then the center channel, and then the surrounds. Im debating a sub, but id have to set the crossover so low im not sure its cost effective. The towers have very solid bass. Adding a sub would be more for if i want to create a mini earthquake.... And I do!!!

the best sub is msmc i have giving a 2 bullit kill a few times now and then there is some players where i can put a full clip into them at point blank range and they never die

Halo for multiplayer. MW was/is awesome but the Black Ops games leave a lot to be desired. I picked up BO2 after playing Halo 4 and I felt like I went backwards in time. Other games I've been playing: Forza, FIFA, SSX, Legos games, etc.

I had stopped playing video games for about 4-6 years after I had gotten married. Since getting divorced I don't have someone nagging me to be their servant (except for my daugther though :) ) so I can put some more time into de-stressing and video games help quite a bit with that.

It isnt a sub, but the An94 is the best gun in the game.

I am pretty sure I will be playing Borderlands 2 and Halo 4 for a long time to come! Plus I picked up the Kinect and have been having a lot of fun with it. My friends and I have a blast on Dance Central 3 and the Nike+ Kinect Training is a good game for working out
