Has anyone scuffed up a Hy-Road with a white 7445 scotchbrite pad? This is approximately equal to 2500 Abralon. Right now my ball is OOB with a 1500 polished finish. I was wondering what the reaction change would be. I have a sanded 1000 T-Road, the polished 1500 Hy-Road, a matte 4000 Alpha-max and a polished 4000 Columbia 300 Burst. Would it be beneficial to even consider doing it? Our THS is oil to 44' buffed out another 2 feet.

I'm still trying to learn all of the new ball finishes and what they do or should do.

With or without polish after the sanding? With it will go longer. Without probably close to the same but real dependent on how dry the heads and mid-lane are.

if you plan on doing this i would say take it to a pro shop and use a spinner, while the scotchbrite pad may be close to the 2500 abralon, doing it by hand would cause inconsistency in the sanding
