Anybody here use Seismic Bowling equipment? A guy at the local Gebhardt's is pretty high on their equipment and I was wondering if anyone here used it and also what kinds of opinions you had.

a few seismic reps have been on the site, it looks decent, but personally have never used/seen a pro shop around that carry's it.

Most pro shops display the popular compaines,ie-Brunswick,Track,Columbia,Hammer,Roto Grip, etc. Brands like Seismic,Lane 1,Motive,Morich,etc have to be ordered by the pro shop.

I have a few of there pieces. They are petty big in the overseas markets, they are really starting to push there
products in the US. They are starting to pick up staffers all over the country. They have a few big names on there staff, but they will not pay the money to get PBA Approved....we all know why!
They have a good selection of balls for different lane conditions. They put alot of emphasis on sport bowling patterns, and what equipment will work the best on those patterns.

I'm a rep with Seismic. If anyone has any questions about their line-up, I would be happy to answer. Seismic has a complete line-up that rivals any other, including some ball designs that are very rare on the market. Seismic does pride itself on balls for sport conditions, but they do just as well on THS.

A quick glimpse at some of their equipment:

Solaris Blackout - a rare mix of a Low RG/Low diff core and a weaker cover to create a fantastic control ball for short oil or burned conditions. Fantastic benchmark piece for higher rev players.

Raging Bull Stampede - review from Bowlers Journal stated that it was one of the strongest covers they have ever tested. Bowling This Month was quoted as saying "This ball could hook in the ocean."

Desperado LE - only urethane ball on the market with an asymmetrical core.

Coming soon - the Dominion Hybrid. Should be a fantastic benchmark piece for all bowlers.

Let me know if anyone has any questions about these balls or anything else in their line-up.

You could always try begging your pro shop, but I don't think it would work :D

Get really good and then send them your averages and ask them to sponsor you as a staff bowler. :D

I am looking for a good ball to use when the heads get burned up by the heavy rev guys I bowl against. Is the Euphoria suggestable???

Euphoria or Blackout could both work, depending on layout, surface, and the reaction you are looking for. The Euphoria will be longer and harder off the spot than the Blackout, which is more of a control ball. The blackout has a fairly weak cover, so it still gets good length when its polished up. All things equal, the Euphoria will cover a few more boards than the Blackout due to its strength off the spot.

The Charcoal/Gold swirl was very nice. I'm also a big fan of the color combo on the Raging Bull Charged.

The new Dominion (our next release) is also very nice: http://www.bowlingboards.com/threads/11509-Coming-Soon-Seismic-Dominion

Wow, that was all one sentence. Striker, if you take a breath once in awhile your accuracy will improve.

yeah defently going to hold off had problem today at bowling i did a change to get my hand inside the ball and i ended up getting under the ball on the backswing so i had to go back to my style where my hand is on the out side of the ball to the top of the swing and then on the way down move to the inside and was still doing bad could not get the right hook on any line so then i change to my hell raiser revenge that was pin down and then i started hitting the pocket.

I have had several of their balls. Aftermath, Desperado, Epicenter and have been impressed with all of them. The Desperado was one of my favorites in the wood center i bowl at for tournaments and a summer sport shot league. Their balls are poured here in the US by 900Global

I just purchased a Desperado LE, had it one week. Threw my first full game with it and got me 197, I have a 170 average in league.

Went with it because I have had my best games throwing a urethane ball. Already wanting to go back to the alley and throw another game with my LE.

Update from my post above. Got back to the lanes and threw 5 games with the Desperado LE. 200 avg in those 5 with a high game of 223 with 6 X's in a row.My best 5 consecutive games ever. The LE sure carrys better than my past balls. My standing league avg 170.

Glad to hear you like it! Got it just in time too, from what I hear we only have 5 left!

The Desperado LE is one heck of a piece! Too bad they only made 200 of them. Might not be any left, I grabbed two of them, one to sell and one to stash away for myself.

Went about 3 weeks without throwing the Desperado LE.

Tossed it in league tonight and ended with a 191 average in three games(holding a 170 average). I am really liking this ball. I am still trying to get my form figured out, been bowling for only a year, but I am starting to like this ball better than my new blue hammer(vibe core).

I will keep the updates coming...
