How much is it a week and for how many weeks? Sounds like it would be a good practice league and a quality bag or ball at the end. It implies any DV8 ball but I would check with the alley GM to make sure.

13 bucks a week so a normal league due idk how many weeks but like u said bill i am going to use it to work on my forum cuz i didnt get no movement on my hammer i had to rip the ball to make it hit the pocket high game of 179 low 124 out of 3 games they didnt give me practics tho so yeah... but this should be a good thing ill get use to synthic lanes instead of wood

Not a bad price at all. Sounds worth it to me. I would join if it wasn't so far away.

i did i hate syntic my ball does not react the oil just gets pushed around so much easier ( my theory) i wish every lane was wood

I love synthetic, more consistent read by the ball. Move your feet a few boards right to offset the reduced friction. Increased axis rotation will help too.

i had to like bend my elbow at the end to make my ball move any and it didnt move much :( i guess i just need to bowl there more

Stop that. Very bad habit to get into that can easily lead to injury and/or inconsistency.

Bill is correct. Doing that can harm you and don't forget - leverage is key and bending the elbow at the release point takes away leverage. Most high rev crankers bend their elbows and cup their wrists only to straighten them at the release point to maximize revs. I cannot do that sort of thing. I was trained to lock the elbow throughout the swing and I have alway stuck with it...

i normally keep it straight but its the only way i know how to add revs i got 4 strikes in a row with it to strike out in the last game lol but i try not to do that my aim goes to poop when i do that

When I bend my elbow at all in my swing, I lose some ball motion and harder to stay under the ball.

i bend it on the follow thur not the release its right at the end i bend it up and rip it

If it's the follow through then the ball is already gone and not a problem.

i would say i do it more right as the ball leaves my hand cuz i get more lift and you can see the ball go out more onto the lane

I remember back in the late 80's bowling on wood lanes, then I experienced synthetic and I never went back to wood again.

Wish there was a center near me for that league, I'd do it in a minute. That's a great deal plus no pressure.

don't do that!
if you want to apply more hook there are a few things you can do:
cup your hand (get under the ball) to give yourself more leverage
cock your wrist
increase your release movement: instead of holding your thumb at 1 o clock and rotating to 10, start at 2 o clock.
don't resort to trying to force the ball to hook via bad habits, it will not help in the long run
Edit: didn't read the second page LOL

I would join this league in a second,if there one in my area. There's not even one in my state.
