I've been off the boards for a few months because of work. It was a great fall season for me, hope the same for all of you. Sandy knocked me back a bit, but we march on.

I am seriously on the cusp of becoming a good bowler :)
If you recall I just started bowling this past May. My avg was in the 140's coming out of summer league. This past month I'm up to 170's.

I've worked a lot on my footwork and finally figured out how to control my targeting and hook...I just needed to become more efficient. For me it meant killing my wicked backswing. I still need TONS of work but it's all starting to come together, wet or dry lanes don't affect me nearly as much and I can't wait to restart lessons.

Awesome game! Glad to hear about the progress and even happier to see you back here. For awhile I figured you gave up on us and left us for good.

Thanks Bill! I just got caught up in life. 7days, 80hrs/wk will take the message boards interest out of you :) I read the boards when I had time but I didn't want to post until things slowed down.

You know what? You are correct. This kind of thing is happening more and more often. I can blame this on my age or the Prednisone I am taking for my spinal issues. Maybe both? :confused:;)
