The Roto Grip Shatter is the HP-2 Line. The Shatter is a high RG and medium differential ball with a Pearl Coverstock. This ball has a skid/ flip reaction.
When the Shatter sees friction , it is going to read it with a hard angular motion.
Very clean up front and stores a lot of energy for the backend. I drilled mine
with a 4.75 inch pin above middle finger, stacked CG. The Shatter has a lot bounce room to the right, and the carry is exceptional. Best used on medium to dry conditions. I have had success using the Shatter when the heads start to go and the oil carries down to the back. The Shatter cuts right through the carrydown.
Very popular ball for all styles of bowlers.
