Just got home from my Monday night league. A guy a couple lanes over threw his first ever 300. He was on the nose a couple shots but got the "cave in" kinds of strikes out of them. One strike was a cross-over.:eek:
I, on the other hand, bowled a three game series and threw two balls out of the pocket all night long. One of these resulted in a 4-6-8 split and the other resulted on a 3-9. In three games I had ONE open frame. I left three 10 pins, four 8 pins and three 9 pins and walked out with a
205, 227, 215 for a 647. Could not get a good string of strikes going because of carry and the second games could easily have been a big game, but alas - carry issues.
How many nights have you bowed much better than your score would indicate???
