Well I now know what all the fuss is about! Purchased the madness on Wednesday, picked it up on Friday and have been so busy I had no time to practice with it. I joined a second league last week (tues mix) and showed up tonight for my second week planning on a below par night trying a new ball out - below par? Holy pin action batman! These balls are amazing - 214 game one 210 game two and then on broken down lanes by game three and feeling a little tired I broke down some and had a 175. Even with the good series miss I could not believe I was bowling this way with a brand new ball I had never used before. Usually it takes me a good 12 games to get a feel for a ball but this dv8 felt good right off the bat. The pin action on this ball is amazing and it hooks just like its supposed to. So needless to say I'm happy to now call myself a deviant and thank everyone on these boards who got me wondering if they really were that good. Thank you members and thank you Brunswick!

It is a great ball. And after experiencing it myself I know how great it can be when I can actually have good form and not make goofs. Which the goofs have been winning lately. It is a beautiful thing when the Madness is rolling in there perfect destroying those pins!

Yep, I love my DV8 Marauder too! Even when I throw a bad shot, that ball will still find the pocket as though it's got radar, and when I throw a good shot, it not only finds the pocket, it hits it like a truck - I love it! Best ball I've ever owned and it gets lots of compliments at the lanes.
