500 scratch series!!

I knw it's not a big deal to all you really good bowlers but its my tops in league!! Way over my average tonight...flirted with 200 in my second game.....barely above my average in the final game but still over it!!

Oh yeah... We beat the first place team tonight.!!!

On a side note i think have learned how to release the ball without further injuring my thumb....I'm not sure if it will ever be 100% but at least I'm not making it worse.

As for your thumb, I have the same problem. I haven't bowled in over two years, and I still have a rough spot on my thumb because of the way I released the ball.

Yeah, that's pretty awesome. I remember when I was in the mindset where I was going to break 200 this week. First time I did it I jumped up in the air with joy. I don't even to that now if I hit 250's. I will if I hit a 300. But it feels great to hit milestones.

That is great stuff man. Congrats. My current high in league are a 575 series and a 199 game....missed a 6-10 spare in the 10th last week (major choking involved there) So like Lockwood said, pick up those spares and you will be creeping up on 600 in no time.

Your first 500 series is something to be very proud of and you will
more than likely always remember it. I still remember my first 500
series from way back in 1980 and still remember the day of the week
and the league it was bowled on so like I said always be proud of it.

Now you can set your next goal for a 600 series.
