two finger vs 3 finger hook bowling

Ive noticed that the majority of the bowlers in my league and all the videos i have watched are three finger bowlers. Im assuming there is a bigger advantage to three finger bowling vs two? For the record i currently bowl two fingered

ok well bowling with the thumb my view is

tumb = more control easy spare pick up

2 fingers = hit general area of lane and hope harder spare pick up

well with 2 fingers u can create alot of revs but your accuracy is not always the same because the ball should shift on your hand but if you get your thumb in the ball then the only accuracy problem might be with the swing or slide.

i throw my 2 fingers and a thumb and my accuracy has increased from what i use to do i use to bowl with 2 fingers and a half thumb but with half thumb the ball shifted in my hand witch game me some problems and accuracy off because in 1 league day i had like 8-12 lines and when i thew my 300 game with the half thumb i had good accuracy then but was still muti lines.

Makes sense as probably my biggest problem is picking up spares

i have tried out 2 fingers and thumb with no success but i still have alot to learn in general about bowling so i will start trying out 3 finger more often once i get a new ball as the one i have right now isnt fit for me. Thanks for clearing it up

my brother is a 2 handed bowler and its hard for him to hit his 10pins so i gave him my ebonite nitro urathane and i have been trying to tell him when throwing at his 10pins doing rev it so much and if he dose come up from behind it like belmo dose but he dose not lissen and not getting into it.

theres actually a 2 handed bowler in my league. He pretty much throws it with so many revs + high speed that it has a mean hook and then just explodes the pins. Hes had a couple 300's doing that

yeah my borthe rhas been a 2 handed bowler since we first stared bowling and right know i got more revs and speed then my brother my brother only throws at 15-16mph with abit of revs and i throw at 19mph with about 450-500 rev rate

I was watching a video about how to calculate pap and all that jazz, and is the only way to calculate rev rate by taking a vid and slowing it down and counting revs?
