I'm really bummed out

I will be out of bowling for an extended period of time. Tuesday my wife noticed a fissure had formed on the sole of my right foot. This is the foot that has had 3 surgeries and is deformed due to the disease charcot. I saw my podiatrist Wednesday and tomorrow home health care will be putting a wound-vac on my foot . This means i will not be able to stand and obviously bowl untill the wound heals and the vac comes off

Ouch..... please get better soon, when you can't work on your form, work on your mind! get some bowling books or check out the FAQ for some "light" reading :D

well you always can come here and talk bowling. There are also bowling video games to scratch that bowling itch. None the less it still sucks for you hopefully you heal quick and can get back to the lanes soon.

Thanks for all the well wishes. Over the past 10 years the foot has put me down several times. Twice for the entire season. This time is not as bad so i'm hoping it's only 4-6 weeks. I have Bowling Evolution on my computer so.......

Get better soon. I hope that you heal quickly. Like Lockwood said...even if you can't physically bowl, you can keep your mind on bowling by reading about it and coming here to the forums and talk about bowling. This will always keep you in the game. :)
