Okay got off to a rocky start tonight the lanes were flooded
with oil which is very unusual on Thursday night. The first
game I bowled tonight was absolutely pathetic but I made a
ball change several times and finally found the right ball for
the lane condition and ended up using the Roto Grip Riot and
ended the night with a 624 series.

1st game=136 :o pitiful game
2nd game=210
3rd game= 278

OMG!!!! what a night it was I just couldn't carry the pins if I
had a dump truck to haul them in. LOL!!! Solid 8 pins and a
few solid 9 pins and a truck load of 10 pins just couldn't cut
the mustard tonight.

1.st game 147 missed several 10 pin and double wood spares
2.nd game 157 same as above
3.rd game 225 finally got some pin action and a little better carry

Got off to a little better start tonight though nothing
worth bragging about really, but last game nobody on
either team could carry the 10 pin even on a solid or a
light pocket hit. I would feel even worse if it had just
been me that couldn't carry them but it was everyone
so that made me feel a little better about leaving them.

Got the new year started off in a good way
with a couple of decent games and if it wasn't
for those pesky 4 pins and 10 pins in the second
game I would of had a really great night.

1st game of the new year on league night got off
to a decent start

2nd game 173 10 pins and 4 pins got me missed 2 10 pins and missed a 4 pin
3rd game 230 couple of 10 pins got me also made them though.

had a 649 series not as good as I had in
practice on Tuesday but not all that bad.

Well last night could have been a lot better than what it was if
there hadn't been 6 other bowlers playing right on top of my line
forcing me to keep moving left every shot.

It wasn't a really bad night but it was not a great night either I
finally decided that I'd just loft the left gutter cap and move into
playing between the 7th and 6th arrows on the left hand side of the
lane and started going coast to coast on the third game.

I knowed none of the other bowlers could follow me that deep on
the lanes as they do not have enought hand to play that area out
there on the lanes.

Well anyway the night went as follows

1st. game 181
2nd. game 192
3rd, game 269= I should have moved in that deep on the lanes a lot earlier

Yep I'm going to move in there the 1st. game next time we bowl
against that team. LOL!!!

I had a decent night tonight not great but it was an OK night
had a 300 game shot at me the second game and I was really
proud for him he really deserved it he only beat me by a Mere
100 pins that game. LOL!!!!

1.st game 236 missed a couple of single pin spares

2.nd game 200 I just couldn't get any pin action

3.rd game was a bust at 184 missed a 7-10 split in the
10th frame on a good pocket shot it looked like, just like
the second game I couldn't get any pin action.

overall at a 620 series it was a pretty good night I guess as I
beat the pocket to death all 3 games but got no love from the
bowling Gods.

Well I didn't get one last night but I've still had several dozens
of 300 games over the years. Unfortunately though only 1 of them
was sanctioned if only they all had been sanctioned then I'd hold the
local association record on the amount of 300 games for one person.

All I can say about tonights bowling is good grief what a wash out it
was, there was very,very little oil on the lanes to start with. I had to
start chasing the oil in on the lanes what little bit of oil there was out
there to begin with after the second frame of the first game.

I just had too keep getting deeper and deeper from the get go and by the
3rd game I was standing in the next lane over and lofting the ball well
past the arrows with hardly any side turn at all and a more end over end
roll on the ball like I was trying to throw it straight in the right hand gutter
and it would start hooking as soon as it hit the lanes even with all of the
forward roll and no side turn it would mostly go Brooklyn when it didn't hit
dead on the headpin.


Anyway here are my lousy scores for this week I guess it could have been a lot
worse though.

I had a little better night tonight than I did last week
started out kind of slow but got in the groove toward
the last part of the first game.

I started the 3rd game off with a 7 bagger then in the
8th frame it jumped on me and I left a 3-6-10 spared
that then in the 9th frame I stoned a solid 8 pin spared
that then doubled and then a 8 count in the 10th frame.

I had a so-so night last night I just never could get the ball
reaction I was looking for all 3 games had a rough time with
picking up the 10 pin last night also. I couldn't even get my
plastic T-Zone to go straight at the 10 pin even when taking
everything off of it with a flat end over end roll it would still
hook right in front of it.

I had one of those Andy Varipapa 300 games between the end of the second
game and the first part of the third game.

Strung the last 8 in the second game and started off with the first 7 in the
third game for 15 strikes in a row all I can say was I was just on tonight. :)

Been a few weeks since I've posted any scores keep forgetting
to do it so I'll post my scores from tonight I had a pretty good
night it is the first night in a long time that I didn't leave a single
10 pin or 7 pin all 3 games.

OMG!!!! what a wash out tonight was we had to bowl on the
lanes I hate with a passion which is lanes 9 and 10 because
you might get if you are really lucky 1 good rack per game.

The rest of the game you can stand there and see pins all
offset all over the place. Yeah you can take some re-racks
but a lot of good that will do as you might get a worse rack
then what you had before and that just delays the game also.

Well the shot was there just like last week and I got the same
excellent ball reaction too but not the same pin carry no matter
how good the ball hit the pocket.

Tonight was our end of league fun night darn it to bad it wasn't a
sanctioned night because I had a fantastic night with games of 279,
278, 266 for a 823 series best I've bowled in a while.
