Michelle Feldman of Auburn, N.Y., has been nearly unstoppable in Professional Bowlers Association Women's Series competition this season and will make her third television appearance of the year Sunday.

The 32-year-old right-hander earned the top seed at this week's event being held alongside the CLR Carmen Salvino Scorpion Championship and will face Team USA member Missy Bellinder of Fullerton, Calif., in the championship match, which is being televised Sunday as part of the Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour telecast on ESPN at 1 p.m. Eastern.

Feldman paced the 16-player field with a 5,675 total after 14 games of qualifying and nine games of match play, while Bellinder, the leader after qualifying, finished with 5,391.

"It's a one game match and anything can happen, but I'm looking to win," Bellinder said. "I made a show last year and came in second, and now I really want to win. I want to win my first women's professional title."

This is the third of seven Women's Series events scheduled for the 2008-09 season, and Feldman has become a staple in the championship round. The 12-time Professional Women's Bowling Association titlist also earned the top spot at the season-opening Pepsi Viper Championship before falling to Stefanie Nation in the title match, but bounced back with a win over Jodi Woessner at the Chameleon Championship.

On the men's side this week, Wes Malott of Argyle, Texas, earned the No. 1 seed with an 8,197 total after 14 games of qualifying and 18 games of match play and also will make his third TV appearance of the year.

"The most challenging thing was keeping up with the high scoring pace," Malott said. "The high end definitely hooked a lot more for us. I was able to create a large lead to kind of relax and coast to the end."

Ken Simard of Greenville, S.C., the leader after qualifying, rolled a 300 game in the position round Friday night to catapult from fourth to second and finished with an 8,059 total. Simard is making the second TV appearance of his career and is still searching for his first Tour win.

"I started bowling well and was able to stay focused shot-to-shot," Simard said. "It's been a long time since I threw that many strikes. I shot 855 (in the Round of 16), and that's my highest three-game score ever."

Sunday's opening match will feature No. 3 seed Brad Angelo of Lockport, N.Y., against No. 4 Jason Couch of Clermont, Fla., and the winner will advance to meet Simard.

Angelo won the Pepsi Viper Championship for his first-career title, while Couch teamed up with basketball star LeBron James to win at the Chris Paul Celebrity Invitational in September.
