Does anybody here have this bag?

http://www.bowlingball.com/products/bowling-bags/Storm/9635/Rolling-Thunder-3-Ball-Roller-Silver-Red-White.html

I am in need of a new bag now that I have 3 balls. If you do can you tell me how you like it? If you don't but you have a 3 ball roller can you tell me what one you have and how you like it. Thanks.

I have the 2 ball version and it,s really nice. I have only had it for a few months, but it very well built. Heavy duty fabric and zippers, bigger wheels that roll smoothly. I would definitely recommend it. Honestly, the only thing I don't like about mine is that I didn't buy the 3 ball version.

I had the Roto-Grip version. Great bag, very well made and extremely durable.

I've been looking at that as well. Let me know how you like it! It almost looks like the wheels are more like Roller Blade wheels and softer than the hard plastic ones on my current bag. I've actually tweaked my wrist before (full disclosure, I've had wrist problems since a golf injury a while back, so I'm sure for someone who doesn't have a weaker wrist this wouldn't be a problem at all) on my current bag because if it even gets slightly unstable it will rock violently back and forth. I hate that...

That's a pretty decent price, too. I think it was more around $150 last I looked at it. This is a difficult time of year to shop. Part of me thinks, "The deals won't get better than this because of Christmas," but the OTHER part of me thinks, "Wait until AFTER Christmas sales..." I don't always pick correctly, but about 4 years ago I lucked out on a laptop! Two days after Christmas, a $1100 laptop went on a Godfather Deal (An offer I couldn't refuse) and I got that BRAND NEW laptop, a carrying case, a chill pad, Microsoft Office, and Antivirus software for $575 (including tax). I doubt I'll ever repeat that one!

Merry Christmas, everybody!

Looks like I am going to have to get a 3 ball roller that is already here on island. Searched most of the websites i know of and shipping over here is anywhere between 35-70 bucks for a bag. I am not gonna pay 200 for a bag.

You should check on eBay if anyone is selling them that has free shipping. Might be able to get one that way.

Yeah the Rolling Thunder is a fine bag. Most major companies who have a 3 ball roller put out similar quality products. I recommend using whichever one has your favorite look.

APO's don't count as the lower 48 anymore? Charging extra to ship to military installations if BS

I finally bit the bullet and bought the 3 ball bag... It hurt to spend the money, but I think I'll be happy with the outcome!

once you get it let us know what you think.

I may need to get myself a 3 baller roller at some point in the near future and would be interested to hear your opinion.

It should be in on Wednesday. I'll let you know. I'm upset there aren't very good pictures of it online anywhere. I wish they would take pictures of the inside and stuff.

The strong selling points for me were the wheels (my current wheels are hard plastic and if I hit a bump it starts rocking pretty violently. I'm anticipating the soft rubber will help it roll smoother and absorb the shock. With the extra weight of the 3rd ball, I don't need that kind of rocking going on), and the straps that go over the bag (form the "x" and probably have a velcro handle). I think those straps will help keep a little bit of the weight off the zippers and help with the durability.

My current bag is this one (Ebonite Grand Tour, except mine is a 2 ball roller and the one pictured is a 3 ball roller):

Now, there IS a strap inside the ball component that holds the balls tightly against the back and protects the zippers. BUT, the shoes still weigh a little, and the top of the bag has a little bit of wear from supporting that weight. It's not too bad, and I've actually been VERY pleased with that bag (I've had it for at least 4 or 5 years), but I needed a 3 ball bag. I have an add on, extra ball attachment for my two ball roller, but it's a bit of a hassle... Plus, the 3 ball roller has a couple extra storage compartments and I feel like that would be a good thing!

I'll let you know how it turns out, once I get it in.
