Finishing Up My Arsenal

Soon, my arsenal will be complete! For those who don't already know, I mainly bowl with my Storm Frantic. I have a New York Jets plastic spare ball I used for my cross lane shots (Can't even find a pic of it online. Got it back in 2004-2005.) Since I'm in my first league, I'm getting the Storm Tropical Breeze (Black/Cherry) for "Christmas" (Won't be in until a couple weeks after Christmas). Gonna drill that for length so I'll have a solid dry lane ball. And my coach now, instead of giving me his Ebonite The One, is giving me his Storm Invasion.

I know nothing about the Invasion. I'm checking it out on bowlingball.com and from what I can tell, it's a heavy oil ball which would round out my set nicely. I'm psyched to get it because I'd love to be able to play more of the middle of the lane in league where most people don't play. Anyone use it?

With all these Storm balls, I feel like I'm just a Storm bowling bag and Storm shirt away from being a walking billboard.

Probably about half the time. The other half, it just misses non-moving targets.

Sorry, got off topic, but yes the invasion is a heavy oil ball. It's a few years old, but should still work well. Looks like you will have a decent little arsenal. Nothing wrong with being a walking billboard for the brand you like.

You need to bench that ball and use your 3rd string ball,cause you dont have confidence in your 2nd string ball. As a matter of fact,I think you should trade for a more accurate ball.

All kidding aside congrats on your new balls! The Invasion came with a 4000 out of box finish if I remember correctly. Gave it to my brother and he loves it.

Ah! I'm so excited! Tomorrow morning I'm driving up north to get my Tropical Breeze drilled. And the guy also said on Thursday he was plugging and drilling my Invasion that day so it should be ready to. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got my Tropical Breeze and Invasion drilled. Threw half a game with each. I wanted to cry. Drilled PERFECTLY to my hand. Strike after strike with both balls.
