Hello. Last week I bowled my first game in 25 years. Boy how things have changed! I purchased a ball, shoes & bag from my local pro shop. The owner steered me to the Hammer - Nail. I'm trying to get used to it now. My old ball was a Columbia white dot. I previously bowled in a league, but it's been a long time and I'm all over the place. I hope to learn a few tips (a LOT) from you experienced bowlers. I'm getting back into bowling to break up the monotony of going to the gym every night. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. Glad to see another person returning to the sport. A lot has changed equipment wise but one huge thing is still the same: consistency wins in the end. Given when you last bowled and the techniques used back then, the Nail is a good choice. You won't need any of the expensive, super aggressive balls out there today.
