I have read that wearing two gold, (not silver rings) on the middle, and ring finger, of the bolwing hand will Increase your scores by givning you more lift. It went on to say the rings make you more conscious of the two fingers, and in turn because of the gold in the rings helps give the bowler more lift. I thought it was a joke until I gave it a try! Weird,,,, silver had no,, NONE, 0, effect!!

Right, and if you drive a Ferrari to the lanes, you are going to bowl a 900 series. So, everyone go out and buy a Ferrari.

If I had a Ferrari I wouldn't care as much how I bowled. I have a Ducati but that's not having that effect.

Make it a 900 series, and I'll put the cheque in the mail right now (along with my social security number, just incase...)

Nice. What kind? I'd love to have a Duc. My only fear is some of them have that dry clutch, and I think I'd have to adjust to that. I know I ride that friction zone from time to time, and I'd certainly not want to do that with a Duc.

Wow,,, You just try to pass on some Hard Facts, that can help improve one’s bowling, and what do I get??? A bunch of smart ASKS!!! LOL…. It works,,, I gave it a try this afternoon, and bowled a 242, 279, and 282!!

I used two 20 karat gold rings, (standard wedding bands), and it worked!!! I actually got about 33 percent more lift, and over a hundred more REV’s!! , this is the big thing in Kansas City!!

It’s fast becoming a pandemic ! It has something to do with the gold, and force field that it generates with the compounds in the ball! It also reminds you to lift,, upon your delivery, with its constant reminder of bulging gold against the ball, and the sound it makes when entering your fingers into the finger holes!! It works,, give it a try, and report back,,, I just gave my report above!!!

P.S. For more lift, and Rev’s they say painting the two fingers gold help!! I forgot to ask why, but it makes perfect sense to me!! I haven’t tried the gold finger polish, I am doing super with just the gold rings!! Good LUCK fellow bowlers!!!

Art, I have a 1098...base model...I love the dry clutch sound...it's at least as loud as the bike itself...people ask me if it's broke all the time. It honestly is an exquisite piece of machinery and isn't really any more expensive than other bikes (ive had lots) unless you crash them (ive done that a few times as well) so I know what I'm talking about!!

How does a happily married X-iron worker/superhero wind up with two wedding bands for his right hand?

Nice. I ride a Suzuki SV650, and I love it, but it pales in comparison. I do a lot of city/town riding, so i like the extra torque from the V twin. A 1098 would be beastly. Its still a plenty pricey bike, but wow. If I were togo Super Sport Id lean towards a Honda CBR, but a Duc would certainly b the dream.

I tried the same thing with cheap copper rings. It turns the fingers green, but it works :)

I REST MY CASE!!!! there you have it!!!! EVEN a copper using rings says it makes a huge differance!! I wounder if Titanium would work?? Did you bowl as well as I did, in the thread I wrote a while back!! This Ring thing works like magic!!! I can't wait to try it out again Thursday, on the dream team!!

I know one thing for sure. I cannot bowl with rings on at all. Not on my bowling hand at least. It doesn't matter what material. And I don't see how Gold would affect anything differently than Silver would for something like bowling. This sounds really weird to me.

Hey maybe I'll break out a couple of my 299 or 300 rings and see if
any of them will fit on my right hand they are all silver and I'll just
see if they do help out any.

You can lead a bowler to the golden rings, but you can't make them wear them!

I would think that it is psychology since the bowling rings that are issued today are gold plated and cost about $20 bucks (wholesale). Even the rings in the 70's were 10k and 14k at the best in the early 70's. Unfortunately award scores are a dime a dozen, not for everybody though :). Still great to shot them, just don't wear the rings.

Now that is out of the way, How about other "bowling bling"? Will a platinum chain improve my score? How about gold caps in my teeth?

I may not bowl better but at least I will look fabulous!!!!!!!

I think ankle weights and a Flava Flav clock around your neck with increase your average by 26%

Wow,,, JUST IN,,, interesting article about 10 and 7 pin leaves! If you make a necklace with a Ten, & 7 pin on it, have it blessed by Bill, (who is a certified bowling coach), and then recite the 10 commandments, along with the 7 days of the week, you will have a 32 percent less chance of leaving those two infamous PINS! I did give it a try, and for me found the 32 percent a little exaggerated,,, I was in the 31 percent range!!!! Still not bad!!

Don’t use rings with too much gold in them,,,, You’ll GO MADD!! The article specifically stated not to use a GOLD RING with more then 25 kt!!! The guy in the video is a perfect example of a normal 210 bowler, (using 64 kt gold), trying to make it to that higher level! IT’s sad what men/women will go through trying to get to a higher bowling average,,,, ,, ,, many will give up Family, Fame, and fortune, not to mention their Sanity!!
