Nice too see a thumbless bowler not trying to over power it!

Any suggestions? I feel that my 12# urethane ball is a tad too light for full carry. Then again 12# is my comfort zone. Do i truly need 15#? Any

can you comfortably hold a house ball that is 13-14 pounds?

usually having a ball drilled to your hand will feel lighter than a ball not Especially for conventional vs fingertip but with you bowling thumbless(palming it) the difference would be less I would think.

The other thing would be to make sure you research the ball that you are looking at. Some use 'normal' cores 14-16 and lighter but still the shame shape for 12-13 others use the regular core down to 13.

with the ball movement you are getting from a urethane on a THS medium/heavy oil (checked your other posts) you don't need to worry about getting a 'strong' ball you put plenty on it to have the ball work for you.

Well it looks like the 13 has very similar # as the 14+ even with the different shape. The 12 the numbers change to reduce flare and make the ball go a little longer.

That ball vs. your urethane though you will probably see ALOT more movement out of it. of course depending on how it is drilled.

So keep the same weight and get the Frantic?

If you could go 13 I would. if you can't go with the 12.

Either way it's a good ball

I used to bowl thumbless from time to time, and I couldn't imagine using a ball that weighs any more than 13 lbs without my thumb. Thumbless bowling puts a ton of strain on your forearm, and unless you're a big, strong guy, anything much heavier will probably cause you some pain. I'd bet that a 13 lb ball with a reactive cover will give you all the carry that you need..... I watched several of your videos and you're already getting good carry and pin action with what you're using now.

Personally, I think it would be better to go up to 13 or even 14.. 12 seems a tad too light to knock all the pins.. your ball will rebound from the pins and therefore, not much of pin action. you can try lowering yourself when releasing and throwing slightly the the right for more reaction to the ball.. :) just my 2 cents.

I have posted some new videos

The catch is this... In order for me to get a new ball, my wife says I need to have a STABLE game and get back up to my 190 average that I had 12 years ago before my car wreck. Now the balls I had I tried using but man they are just too heavy! 15# :(

In order for me to improve my game it turns out that I may just need to get a new ball. :(

Bowling gods. If you are listening! Please send a new ball my way (frantic)! Thank you! :)
