So i pulled my groin bowling... its was very weird happened on my power step while my right leg was moving back left for the finish. Needless to say it hurts something fierce. don't know how long ill be out. I heard it takes a solid month for it to get nice and healthy again and i should stretch it out every time before i bowl now. anybody else ever pull their groin? or ever have some other weird injury?

I've had almost every injury imaginable but not many WHILE bowling. Last night, out of nowhere, my middle finger started killing me. I couldn't even get my hand in the ball without excruciating pain. Took a look when we were done and the tip is all swollen with a lump on top of the knuckle. It still hurts to touch, even to type. Not sure if it's a clump of arthritis, tendonitis or a calcium deposit. Thinking of putting a splint on it and taking the grip out of that hole of a ball. I have league Monday and Tuesday plus have to get ready for tournaments that are coming up.

A few years ago, I hurt my groin bowling. Didn't really pull it, just tweaked it. It made bowling a little tough for a while, but it wasn't too bad. Did it the same way, took a step as normal, then out of nowhere a little tweak. Sucks.

I've stuck on the approach and pulled something in my butt before. Not something I ever want to do again.

You could always come over to the sinister side till it clears up.

I've pulled my groin....,but it's much more fun to have someone else pull it...(groan).

Yeah, I tweaked my groin about a week or two ago (while bowling). Just bowled through it, but it did hurt my next few outings.

I've had a groin pull, it can be a bear trying to bowl with one.
Stretching is key to therapy - and increase your fluid and electrolyte intake while you're healing. A warming pad can do wonders too.

This is one injury that I'm assuming would affect many of the texting community, had this happen to me years ago

I could in two of my leagues IF a medical exception was granted but my Tues league wouldn't allow it as that one is based off of average to get in. I plan to do at least one of my three summer leagues lefty.

That lump on your middle finger knuckle is probably a sign of one of the forms of arthritis. I have those lumps, though small, on the knuckle of both of my index fingers.
I do have some osteoarthritis in my hips and knees but not bad enough for joint replacement. I am just glad that my ring and middle finger on my left hand don't have that. I bowl with my left hand. I had a friend that had that lump taken off with surgery. Now her finger is okay.

I have degenerative arthritis in my knees, hips and all my finger joints. I was diagnosed with it at age 23. Now at 44 I just try to live through the pain but this is worse than usual. I'm thinking maybe my grips wore out and I was stuffing my fingers in too far putting unnecessary pressure on the knuckles but that's just a guess. I can't move it enough to check yet. I even skipped league tonight for the first time in 7 years.

I get this throbbing pain in my plant leg right above my knee. It seems to only flair up after bowling more than 2 days in a row. Sometimes it’s so intense that I feel like my leg is going to give out during my approach. This has greatly hindered my game as I will fall off of shots about 2-3 times a game.
