Okay, so I have seen several videos for the Reign of Power (Storm's release coming out 2/26/2013) and I made the mistake of getting pretty psyched up about the ball. It looks like a ball that would fit perfectly in my line-up. SO, I go to talk to my pro about this ball, and I ask him when he can get it in for me. He tells me it has not been released yet. I tell him he must be wrong since I have seen sooooooo mannnnyyyyy videos of this ball online. He then shows me that it will not be released for 39 more days. 39 days! I got myslef all excited over nothing! WHy do these ball companies release these videos sooooo far in advance?! I know it is marketing, but fer crying' out loud!

Yeah you would think they wouldn't want to release it too far in advance as to hurt current ball sales.

Gotta find yourself a distributor. My local collegiate bowling team gets the balls around the same time the videos are released.

There IS a Universtity near here, but they do not have a bowling team... :/

The companies are killing the anticipation with all the balls going out so early and people making vids with them. 30 days would be plenty to properly market and build excitement.
Blue balled. By a blue ball. Coincidence?
I also think that 39 days is but a blink of an eye in the grand scheme of things...

Releasing the videos and promo stuff for balls so early kills sales. I was looking at a number of balls for myself and wife, had it narrowed down and close to buying a ball. Then I see the new DV8 balls and immediately I stop looking for balls and am waiting for the new releases. I guess it helps cut competition sales.

Lol Patience Jay-son! According to Facebook it's release date is February 5th... not to far off now.
