Went bowling praying the lanes are oiled and they were! Here's a video of my second game. Haven't watched it myself so I have no comments of my own form. Hopefully it's not awful. Bowled a 191 this game that I taped.

Side note, this is with my new drilling to match my other two balls. I also sanded my ball down to a 2000 grit from the OOB 1500. Felt like it definitely gave me that extra length while still hitting hard.
Edit: Jesus, just played the video and instantly realized that it's mirrored so it looks like I'm a lefty. Crapppppppppppppppppppp.
2nd Edit: Downloaded some software and flipped the video so it's now the way I actually bowled.

Anywho, my own comments on the bowling.
I didn't get as low as I wanted. My arm swing wasn't as free as I wanted it to be but it looks good on video.
Couple missed cross-lane shots. Big rarity for me these days. Figures that the only time I do it, it's on camera.

When I'm looking at form I don't look at what happens to the pins most of the time so don't worry about the misses. Besides, they tell you as much, if not more, than the good shots.
1.You're right. The swing isn't free. The odd part is you use muscle to slow and delay your swing at the hinge. You start to hinge then pause before dropping into the backswing.
2. Stop bouncing in your stance before you begin your approach. As you bounce your knees you also move your arm. It would be near impossible to bounce the exact same amount and begin at the exact same amount each and every time. Obvious consistency issue.
3. Your turn the ball a little early. Wait longer to rotate and then do it quicker. From the point where you begin to rotate, accelerate your arm swing.

Here's the thing about the bouncing that I like. It gets me into a rhythm when I'm doing it and keeps everything the same pace.
There are two parts where I tend to muscle it: on the backswing, and at the bottom of my release.
I definitely need to work on holding the ball later in my release before rotating it. The extra revs will make a huge difference when there's extra oil.

I'm just suggesting to stop the bounce for a split second before you step. Using it as a timing mechanism is fine but I saw a few shots where you began at different spots in the bounce. Frame by frame has it's advantages lol

It's interesting, when I bounce, it's usually only my arm, not my whole body.

MR GREENDAY !! Next time you practice (and video tape it) will you please strap on a 25 lb weight to your right ankle ? That "might" help you keep that right toe on the floor. It MIGHT also help you to MAINTAIN your balance at the line sou you won't fall over to the right after releasing the ball. THINK SMOOOOOOTH. Stay balanced at the line and stay down with the shot. Hold your final position at the line ( Spelled BALANCED) until the ball drops off of the pin deck. Pleeeeease. Thank you.

I've actually discussed the whole foot not staying on the ground with my coach and he has absolutely no problem with it.
My balance issue usually comes into effect when I'm not making an effort to post my shot. Getting low usually solves the balance problem.

Ok, different strokes for different folks. He teaches one thing and I teach another. I've only been doing this (coaching) since 1973 and maybe he's been doing it longer. All I can say is I teach to what I see someone doing and try to see what "might" help them. He may not see that as a problem. It would be one of the first things I would try to correct on anyone I was coaching. Just my thoughts an how to get and stay balanced.

Last night at league sucked, but practice was amazing today. I was so insanely loose. My ball speed greatly increased. My accuracy was amazing. And best of all, I wasn't on top of the ball. I was able to get behind the ball! Now my wrist hurts something awful. But it was crazy how many more revs I was getting on the ball by doing that properly.

I'm not trying to disrespect your coach. He probably doesn't have a problem with your balance leg because it's not all out of control and I would bet is closer to the ground when you're lower.
However, I do agree with Bob that it SHOULD be on the ground. The reason I believe in this is; it allows for more power through the release while keeping the body in the proper and same position each time, a good, balanced position. It's also easier to duplicate shot after shot. For each 1/2" difference in height of your balance foot from the floor, what is the change to the rest of your body?
Bob, length of time doing anything doesn't mean somebody knows what they're doing. You're an excellent coach so don't degrade your abilities by saying how long it's been. The game has changed and you have changed with it. We both know guys your age whose games and coaching style hasn't changed since the early 70s.
Sorry but I met a ton of morons in the Army that thought they should have my job because they were in longer than me even though I ran circles around them. They also didn't like answering to a soldier with less rank than them but they either got over it or got transferred.

We go about things of you can only think about two things at a time before it's too many things at once. First it was a five step approach from a four step approach. Also a free arm swing, which has been a huge challenge for me. Being behind the ball instead of on top of it. Framing my shot (Which when I focus on, solves my balance issues). He also taught me how to easily shoot ten pins.
It's been a lot of progress. Bigger things first I guess.

He is correct. Two or three tops is usually all the change people can handle at once. Even when I see my own videos and see fifteen things wrong, I try to focus on a few otherwise you spend too much time thinking instead of doing.
The only real difference is I try to have them master everything with their original 4 step before teaching the 5 step. Why? After that it's just adding a step, the rest is the same.

Well, it took me about five minutes to get comfortable switching from a four step to a five step even though I had been doing a four step for about...eight years when I started bowling. That just clicked so it was no big deal.

I had an 8 year old that couldn't start the swing on his first step. I taught him a five step and he has been going great. Took showing him twice and he had it down. Others just get all baffled. Each person is different.
Since switching his average has gone from a 58 to a 135. Half use to be gutter balls to now he gets maybe two a month.
