I am going to AYCB at 9PM tonight. I can usually get 9 games into a 3 hour span. Going to be my first time AYCB with my new ball. So far I have bowled bout 15 games across the span of 4 days playing with family. Wish me luck!

There is this house about 5 minutes down the street that offer $1 a game bowling between the hours of 9pm and midnight on Sunday through Thursday. It is fun. I have my mom and wife with me so that gives me a chance to rest between frames. Usually the lanes are burnt out from the league before it so it is a bit challenging.

None of the alleys have good deals. My practice lanes that are close by offer $1.50 a game between 9am-1pm on Sundays, otherwise it's $3.75 a game 9-5 during the week and $4.25 the rest of the time. Another lanes nearby is only $2 a game before 5pm during the week, but they don't oil their lanes until evening and most of the time it's been dry so I see no point of practicing. All other lanes are at least 30 minutes away so I don't go that far just for practice.

If I knew of a place that did $1 games, I'd probably hang out all night and bowl around 10 games.

I'm spoiled. I can lay down any pattern in the Kegel library as long as they have a lane open.

I'd be happy if they'd just oil one lane with a THS for me. I don't know. I've never asked them and I don't bowl at the place enough that I'd feel justified asking. Though I'd go daily if they did it for me.

I have never asked a house to lay a pattern down.

At our local alley, the games are $1.75 if you're in a league. Even my senior league counts.

I bowl for free there in exchange for free coaching for the kids. We are developing a "learn to bowl" program and in exchange the alley owner is paying for my silver seminar/certification. The employees are all part-time so I usually have more hours there than they do. We have also been discussing listing me as a sub-contractor so there won't be any liability issues with me fixing the machines, going on the lanes, etc. so it's not your typical situation.

That's pretty awesome bill. Especially with the volume you put into the house! I tried to work something like that out with my center, but they won't have any of it!
