Guys, this is the ball I won a couple of months ago, and I want to tell you it's one of the best I've owned in a long time. If you want a skid/snap ball this is the one to get. Use the 4 x 4 x 2 drilling pattern that comes with the drilling instructions in the box and use a weight hole. This ball comes off of the break point like a truck. One of the young guys that bowls with me was having trouble a couple of weeks ago with his balls reacting right so I suggested that he try the shatter if it fitted him. He shot a 230+ game that night and used it last week as well and is averaging over 225 with it. His league average is in the high 180's. Nuff said!

Oh noo!! i'm stuck in a sarcasm triangle! ok here's the deal, bill gets me Monday Wednesday friday, you get me Tuesday Thursday Saturday, and Sunday is my swinging day where everyone gets a piece of the sarcasm!

I am totally lost as to what kind of ball to use. I tried to get a ball for medium oil but have trouble with it taking off on drier lanes. I move left as far as I can but cannot seem to master the art of throwing the ball to the right over the second arrow to give the ball more room to work. Sometimes it keeps going right into the gutter. If I throw it for normal oil it works pretty well. I know I need to practice with it but our lanes are terrible and when I go out of town to bowl, I am lost again on how to throw it. I also hate having to do so much maintenance on it all the time. I have gotten some of my highest scores with this ball and some of the lowest. It is a Brunswick C system. Too aggressive for a low average woman bowler?

this ball might do good for you but this is a entry lvl ball but i think more along the lines of a high end ball doing better.

alright thats what i decide on doing if i win it because if you read at the start of this thread i said i will stick with my c300 freeze my freeze is a great ball im able to throw it on muti oil conditions.

well this ball dose have polish on it and is great for med-dry lanes but the versa max has high gloss polish on it but the versa is ment for med oiled soo well i think the versa would be a little more of a skid/snap and the shatter would be more of a arc so its hard to tell they might be the same.
