New Marauder on the way!

Ok, you guys talked me into it, I went down today and bought a Marauder. I couldn't help myself, my local pro shop had one on clearance. They didn't have time to drill it, so I can't pick it up until tomorrow. I wanted a good ball for when I use my thumb. Everything else I have is used, and plugged. Some stuff has been plugged a few times, because I now use a Sarge Easter grip. I wanted a fresh clean start, and with that ball being 20% off it was too good to pass up. DV8 isn't popular around here, so he had the Marauder and Too Reckless sitting there on the clearance shelf. I almost bought the Too Reckless last week, if it was 14#'s I would have, and set it up for no thumb. Can't wait to pick it up and hit the lanes, I have high hopes for the ball. I think paired with my 607A (which IMHO is a total beast) it can make for a dynamic duo!

I can't wait to hear how you like it. I stopped asking people but when I did, everyone's average went up at least ten pins switching to a DV8. I believe a lot of that is mental or being a new ball that isn't oil soaked. I'm one of the few people I see after league actually clean their bowling balls.

Yeah nobody in my league really cleans their balls after bowling. It is now basically a ritual, I would feel wrong not cleaning them before putting them away!

Mine didn't make it by league tonight... only shot 599 without it :(

I clean every ball I have, including spare ball, every week. I soak my stuff, de oil them, resurface them, and I still suck. I think I figured out a lot of my issues, and adding a bad azz ball like the Marauder will surely help.
