I just recently joined a league and never have been very skilled at the game.

I've told myself that I averaged about 120 before starting to keep track of numbers. Turned out that my average was more along the lines of 110, but I have been improving and think it's up to about 115 now.

My scores still jump around, but my last few scores on the league have been: 105 129 138 104
Keeping my practice games separate, my last few scores from there have been: 167 147 130 130 92

(each set of scores is over two weeks worth of play, 2 games in the league, and 3 games in one practice session and 2 games in another.)

Keep practicing. When you practice, practice for quality and not quantity. 3 quality games can be as good as 20 games, if you really work on yourself. There are allot of Youtube videos regarding properly release, approach, etc. Concentrate on what your whole body (Hands, feet, arm, etc.) does. Record a video of your form as well, so you can see what you are doing and post them them so we can see as well.
