So, I got my sst8's today just in time for league, and.... i Bowled my second ever 600 set and high series ever

218,222,187 (started third game poorly but stuck out after 7 to salvage the game.

Congrats! How are you liking the shoes? FYI, once you find a comfortable slide sole, buy an extra sole for a spare, just in case.

Congrats! How are you liking the shoes? FYI, once you find a comfortable slide sole, buy an extra sole for a spare, just in case.

The shoes are nice, i think i went 1/2 a size too big, but never the less they work great. I was using the s8 sole, but i want to go for some practice and fine tune it to get the slide i like best, at which point i will definitely buy an extra sole or two.

Anyone that's going to buy these shoes and is in between sizes to get (i was debating between 10 and 10.5) go with the lower size.


@jbeck, practice makes perfect, before my first 600 i had at least 4-6 590 series LOL

nice job lockwood you beat my series from saturday i got a 611 first 600 in belleville this year but same day also got my 1st and 2nd 200 game too. my games where 164-234-213 my 2nd game i went open/spare/spare/open/x/x/x/x/x/xxx(8 in a row to finish).

Congrats. I, too, recently bowled my second ever 600 series (first since I was a youth bowler). Gives me hope that I might actually be able to join a scratch league someday.

yeah earlyer i went and practices and got a 299 game throwing same line and same ball i have gotten better since i went to belleville so next year i will defently be going the zones in all turnnys and mostly 4 steps.

Same, i will be doing a lot more practicing next year thanks to the HPA program, but that's for another thread :D

Whats your average right now? books say 160, but i think i'm closer to 170-175, its been awhile since i bowled under a 500 set.

well last week i was avg 146 then with being 173 pin above avg i think it might go to 149-151 but for the past few weeks i have been avging 180+ other then last saturday i avg 203.
