Anyone else watching this? I'm only two episodes in, so I don't want to get into too much detail and spoil it for myself... But it's greatness so far!
I've been a huge Kevin Spacey fan since The Usual Suspects. This show is quite interesting. The synopsis, so far, is he's a politician who is the majority leader in the House and he was up for a position as Secretary of State, but the new President Elect whom he had a great relationship with decided to make a last minute change of plans, stating it was more important to keep him in the House than it was to name him Secretary of State. That doesn't sit well with Spacey at all, so the show is now a power struggle.
I've got to say, it's a very strong show, so far! It has a really interesting twist in the way it's shot, as Kevin Spacey's character is aware of the cameras, but it's not shot in a documentary style like The Office. It's pretty cool how they pull it off.
Anyway... Just thought I'd start a thread. Netflix was so close to getting cancelled... The only reason I've decided to keep it is because I LOVE Arrested Development, and new episodes are going to come out for Arrested Development which will also be Netflix exclusive. But now things are a little more interesting, and I might have to keep Netflix around a little while longer!
