This is me a few months ago. My timing is a bit late but thought I'd post for any observations. I look fairly similar now just a little lower in my finish.

Looks pretty simple to me - and simple is good. Seems like your left hand leaves the ball pretty early on your push away...

What would reason be to keep it there?

Josh simple is good need to be lower at the release and noticed that your guide hand left the ball just a little early. other than that looking good.

Thanks. Not one for complicating things haha.
Does the support hand serve some sort of function when in place longer?
I had knee surgery so its been taking me awhile to get lower. Still not strong enuff yet.

Supporting the ball with the opposite hand during the push away keeps the muscles in the bowling arm from tensing up, allowing for a free arm swing.

Well I tried it tonight. 1st game I was having difficulty with the ball I chose so made a couple choices before I found the right one. Once I got my look I started focusing on the push away. finished game 1 with a 182....not happy but found the ball I needed. Game 2...with push away now more comfy, 9/, then 8 strikes in a row, 9/X in 10th for 268. I was able to keep my arm out and not drop it like my coach wanted plus keep the hand on the ball longer. game 3 opened with 3 strikes then lane had heavy carry down and ball stopped reacting. Switched to more aggressive cover stock. finished at 206 for a 656 series. Had 2 stone 9 's in last game. could've been higher.
Im glad I posted the video and you guys pointed that out. made a huge difference. thank you so much!

2nd league night with a 2 hand push away. Did some fine tuning with where my left arm goes trying not to open too much. shot 225-226-233 for a 684. Im definitely encouraged by the small form change.

if your knee bend is lower now im guessing it would be fine.
