I last bowled when I was 17. I'm now 54. My boss took a group of us managers to a local bowling center recently for some "team building." After about 3 games I quickly realized how much I really missed this wonderful sport. That was one month ago today.
Since then I've purchased two balls, two pair of shoes and a two ball roller (I'm going to need a four ball roller soon!) I've rolled 79 games in the past 30 days. I've had some bad ones (trying to remember what I've forgotten) and several 200+ games with a few above 250 (I remembered some of what I had forgotten!)
Last Saturday I rolled 15 straight games and stopped when my hand hurt so badly I couldn't throw the ball with any speed but it was fun!
I read a lot of the forum posts, listen to others at the lanes and to the guys in the pro shop and a lot of the terms used are foreign to me but I'll learn!
It's nice to be back and I'm blessed to have this forum where I can seek some advice and share my good days at the lanes!
