Is any guy here confident enough in his manhood to use a Diva bowling ball?

It seems like that Diva ball that came out is a pretty good ball. I wonder how many guys will be brave enough to get one and risk getting the smart aleck remarks from other guys and maybe gals. The way I look at it it's just a bowling ball and just because it says Diva doesn't matter to me. If I liked it I wouldn't care what folks said about it. What would be good is if guys on league night give you the business about your Diva ball and you kick their butts with it you can tell them you got beaten by a girls ball. Any guys here have a Diva ball and do you like it? ;)

According to bowlingball.com this ball can be used on lane conditions that are medium-oily and on light oil conditions. So it looks like you can use it anywhere. Not bad. :cool:

I have one and use it regularly. The captain of my scratch league team also has one. They are started to pop up fairly regularly now.

I've seen someone bowl with it. Of course, he's a DV8 rep and has several 300's & 800's under his belt. I'd honestly use it if I had one. Once I drill it (RICO layout) and resurface it, I can figure where it can fit in my arsenal. People won't laugh at me striking with the ball. Unfortunately, since I only bowl in THS, I only need to carry only 2 bowling balls. Very rarely do I carry 3, unless I'm walking into a new house.

I may be buying one soon. First, I give a crap what people think, or say. Second, it's a great ball. Third, I think black and pink are a great color combo. If it were all pink, then I might think twice. The new Diva bag, now that's something I wouldn't think a guy would want.

Sure I'd throw a Diva and not think twice about it shoot
I'd even be willing to throw a pink and purple polka dot
ball just as long as it gave me good striking results and
high scores.

To me the way a ball looks or the color of it isn't all that

I throw a DV8 Misfit... the pearl neon yellow. It looks like a house ball on steroids. For the first 3 weeks SO MANY people would make comments about how ugly that ball is and try to talk smack about it. Since I've got it and we have consistently been beating all those teams the smack has stopped. Moral of the story... Just throw a damn good ball and then rub it in their face that its a "girly" or "ugly" ball. Puts a smile on my face when I beat the smack talkers.

After watching a few of the women throw it last night, I kind of want one. One woman was throwing a 15mph backup ball that had an extremely strong hook and was carrying. She's been using it for two weeks now and she just had the best week I've seen her throw. She had to be bowling consistently 40+ pins above her average. It was devastating to her opponents.

Hey I have a yellow and green Frantic, and two of the guys on my team have old pink spare balls, so I agree as long as it does what you need it to, who cares what color it is.

The only thing that I care about is that it is just a bowling ball. It doesn't matter what it is called. Your going by what the ball does and don't care what it is called. If it works for ya I wouldn't care if it was called Minnie Mouse. :cool:

When I go looking for a bowling ball, I pick out a bunch that seem to do what I would like them to do. After that, I get the opinion of the pro shop guy on those balls and use his input to further narrow my selection. After that, I choose the one that I think looks the best. I like bowling balls that are in plain, usually dark, colors. On the other hand, I am not picky at all about free equipment, so if someone were to give me the bowling ball, I'd have no problem using it. Considering that this has been the method by which I've gotten most of my bowling balls, it's quite likely that at some point I will get an ugly one.

If you get a Diva ball, I am talking to the guys here, you can tell everyone that you have a new girlfriend. Then you pull out your Diva ball and tell them that your girlfriend can kick butt with the best of them.

Whoever wins this weeks ball will get one. I would use it as my wife has the Diva already. I guess if I were to get one we could have to bowl a doubles league as "the Divas" or the "Pink and Black attack".
